EFA; adding to long

Tuesday, July 18th, 2006

First long postion for EFA was posted HERE. Adding here at good support. Favorable fuzzy count shown HERE. Initial is only -2.3% and I am giving that entry a little over 5% risk stop (under the inverted head/island reversal). This entry will have the same stop. If the island […]

Vector signal

Tuesday, July 18th, 2006

Swing short signal earlier today, soon after market open.

Remember: Vector can be used to help time swing futures trades as well as regular stock trades.

Examples are highlighted in these intraday charts of INTC, PARL, SPF and PRX, four stock issues I happen to be quite bearish on right now. You’ll […]

CERS loses major support

Monday, July 17th, 2006

Further to THIS CHART, the fuzzy C and the neckline are doozies. I am bearish as long as price is under them. Caution longs!

PRX (Burnt Toast Award)

Monday, July 17th, 2006

Further to THIS POST the call proves good and the 5% risk stop was not hit. The postion this morning sees +4% and now stop to even. You’ll recall the stop logic was to position it above the first inside day after the big drop (Friday July 7th). The reward/risk ratio at […]

Short YM

Monday, July 17th, 2006

I am short YM futures 10840 and +54 (or +$270 per contract), based purely on a Vector swing short signal this morning.

PARL band action a concern for bulls

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

For those expecting a bounce from PARL soon, the band action sure isn’t whispering confidence. It sure has fallen out of the ugly tree hasn’t it? TA is still suggestive of $6.00 then $4.00 support, although I do note it is near solid price support of $7.42 from May ‘05. Note the […]

PLAY; toaster is scorching

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

PLAY, former Burnt Toast Award winner, closes +8% since the entry posted. I can add that Thursday saw some very bearish band action and is suggestive of lower this week.

The weekly shows a nice downside target.

EBAY still in the weekly 5th down

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

Further to last week’s post HERE, EBAY continues in its weekly 5th down and a monthly 3 down. A weekly closed under 23.00 is cause for immediate concern for bulls.
Current chart HERE
The soon to be expected ABC correctives are gonna be worth stalking short. But with earnings being announced this week, one wonders […]

ESLR setting up short

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

Stalk for the great r/r entry dudes. It’s falling for the neckline to complete the R shoulder, and failure at neck targets 2.50, a handsome bearish reward. Patient bears may want to wait for the neckline break, then bullish return to test the neckline to generate the Kiss of Death short for potential […]

FAL

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

Further to this post HERE, FAL is a clear standout against the broader market, continuing its impulsive 5th up. See the chart here: FAL
Outstanding money flow this one.

The Dow Weekly

Friday, July 14th, 2006

Thoughts to consider.

YM fuzzy count

Friday, July 14th, 2006

At support so scalp longs probably have a good chance while the 120min chart does some correctives to the carnage. Bears will be stalking 11900 on the DOW.

GEHL flipped

Friday, July 14th, 2006

Previously I posted the bullish nature of GEHL (CLICK HERE). The worm has turned for it, and TA suggests another series of impulses down to 17.30 bollinger band support. 22.16 is the double bottom support, but the nature of the daily price action doesn’t inspire to look for a double bottom here. […]

PLAY; Burnt Toast getting black.

Friday, July 14th, 2006

As per last writeup for PLAY HERE, I note the call was good and price is dropping as expected, now +8% profit from the call. I note yesterday’s band action is very bearish on the daily chart. Money flow of course is atrocious. Target is $1.00 or +90%.

YM futures reassessed

Friday, July 14th, 2006

OK, I’m flat with +229 from the first and +60 from the add. Total of +289.

ALDA worth looking for the monthly ‘b’

Thursday, July 13th, 2006

Thanks firstly to Rob over at the mm forums for the heads up.
Yes, I agree with him; it’s worth looking long at current levels. Weekly expanding channel long with great money flow at potential zero line reject area.

YM Dow trades

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

2 swing trades today and finish the day +70 points after the first discretionary trade stopped out for -30. The first trade was a logical support level, while the second trade was based purely on the Vector signal and most people would probably be looking to sell the resistance after price support had broken. […]

ELN approaches price support

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

Since the last 2 ELN setups (1st producing +4.9% from great entry) price has fallen away substantially now (-7%), reinforcing why it is wisdom to take the breakeven stop instead of holding in hope. I mean why watch a perfect entry with immediate green turn ugly red by 7%? No reason to […]

PRX intraday

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

The intraday chart for PRX shows that price action/behavior is supportive of a short bias. A 30-minute spike that gets immediately sold at the hourly fuzzy C resistance/price resistance area does whisper of lower prices.

PRX; Burnt Toast No. 8

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

monthly chart
daily chart

PRX is burnt toast and offers a target of +73% to major price support from current levels. The monthly chart shows the major fuzzy C failure back in April 05 during the blue 1 down (happens to be off the smaller black C corrective resistance area). Later bullish price action […]
